| Hi all! I heard to one of my co workers that i can i use my 3g mobile phone for internet in my PC? and i feel very curious about how it works, can you give me set-up instructions? im using a mac OS for the laptop and a windows SP2 for my desktop. i hope you can help me.. many thanks. |

Hi. If you could post the phone make and model, I may be able to provide more help. 
Anyways, basically what you need to do first is to setup the software that came with your phone. The said software would then create the necessary connections between your PC/Mac and your phone, either via cable or via BT. Depending on the driver & software that came with the phone, the software should provide you with an entry called "Serial Connection via Bluetooth" or something like that. Use that function and you should be able to connect to the internet as if you were connecting via a modem.

Since the phone is already 3G, why don't you just use it to browse the internet? |

Will it be the same speed when I use my landline's per per use internet? Let's say 37kbps-57kbps? |
